About the Role:
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling will enable you to uncover insights and develop actionable recommendations that inform business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use quantitative evaluation and the presentation of information to peer past the numbers and understand what drives our business
- Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
- Work with and mentor junior analysts to develop more advanced techniques and solve complex problems
- Produce recommendations and use statistical strategies and hypothesis testing to validate findings
- Provide insights to assist business and product leaders in understanding market dynamics, customer behavior, and long-term trends
- Identify and quantify levers to drive key metrics and make recommendations
- Work backward from experience and sizing issues to ideate solutions
- Report against our goals by identifying key metrics and building executive-facing dashboards to track progress
- Collaborate with engineering to implement, document, validate, and deploy our logging

Requirements:
* A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related role
- Experience working with funnel optimization, customer segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models, etc.
- Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages, including Matlab, R, SAS, or Python
- Proficiency in one or more analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Chartio, Looker, Tableau)
- The ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way
