Job Description: E-commerce Specialist Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific Time (Los Angeles, USA) Target Start Date: As soon as possible (ideally within 1 week of offer acceptance) Role Overview The E-commerce Specialist works under the strategic direction of the E-commerce Manager and is responsible for executing initiatives that drive online sales and improve conversion rates. This hands-on role supports daily Shopify store operations, merchandising, landing page creation, app management to enhance the customer experience, email marketing campaigns, and SEO optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Focus: All tasks are executed under direction with the goal of increasing conversions and driving revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shopify & Product Management: Execute direction from the E-commerce Manager to update prices, add new products, maintain homepage, collections, product pages, and create/maintain landing pages. Optimize listings for SEO and sales. Manage apps that improve the customer experience.
  • Merchandising & Website Optimization: Execute merchandising directions to highlight products and promotions. Build campaign and promotional landing pages, troubleshoot site issues, and use apps strategically to increase conversions.
  • Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo): Execute email and SMS campaigns and flows as directed. Segment audiences, monitor performance, and test for formatting, deliverability, and links.

Provide specific deliverables (e.g., written reports) exactly as requested.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Execute additional E-commerce related tasks as directed to support E-commerce D2C sales and operations, including any new responsibilities as needed.

Performance & Behavioral Expectations (Note: These are critical requirements for success in this role)

  • Follow Instructions Precisely: Must deliver exactly what is requested (e.g., providing a written report rather than a verbal update if asked). Deviations from specific requests are not acceptable.
  • Strict Adherence to SOPs: It’s not enough to simply complete a task. You must review all relevant SOPs and meeting notes before submitting work, ensuring all rules and standards are fully applied.
  • Timely & Proactive Communication: Must check emails and reply to messages promptly, keeping stakeholders updated on workflow progress without needing reminders.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Thoroughness and accuracy are mandatory to prevent common mistakes.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
