About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our technology group, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data processing and analytics systems that drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' evolving expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop distributed data processing and analytics systems using cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines using tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, and Apache Elasticsearch.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data visualizations and reporting tools using technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering and analytics.
  • Work with our DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of our data processing and analytics systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to the development of arenaflex's data engineering and analytics strategy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development and data engineering using languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with distributed data processing and analytics systems, including tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, and Apache Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience with data security and compliance frameworks.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
