Essential Functions of the Customer Service Representative Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional service
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized support
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Helping customers change their travel plans, including booking new flights, hotels, and rental cars
  • Providing or confirming customers' travel itinerary, including flight and hotel details
  • Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping

About You

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are some of the key requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience is required, with a strong track record of providing exceptional service
  • Strong geographical knowledge is essential, as you'll be assisting customers with travel plans and reservations
  • Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Easy to work with, accepting feedback well and demonstrating empathy effectively
  • Self-directed, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and anticipate situations
  • Able to work independently and proactively in a high-growth environment
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications

Technical Requirements

To perform your duties as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need a computer and equipment meeting the following specifications:

  • Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above
  • Memory: 8GB of RAM
  • Hard Drive: 256GB
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome
  • Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers)
  • Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software
  • Headset: USB noise-canceling headset

Contract Requirements

arenaflex contracts with people in 34 states, with the following exceptions: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, and WA. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.
