About the Commitment Examination Team

The Commitment Examination team is looking for a Lead Data Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our team. We collaborate with other teams across the organization to transform data into insights, insights into experiences, and experiences into key business decisions that steer the company's course. Key Responsibilities

* Direct the team in its reporting plan and data process, organizing experts to build tooling and communicate with our partners, as well as the broader Disney universe

• Drive the utilization of analysis as a core value driver across our organization
• Business Execution Reporting, Representation: Be the primary partner for cross-functional partners to understand the performance of the platform. When a metric is ahead or behind expectations, dive in to drive significant, meaningful insights that help improve or double down on progress
• Reporting and Tooling Process: Lead the team in the development of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across streaming platforms
• BI Execution: Drive reporting for large-scale data, act as a specialist for experts in the team and collaborate with Information Engineering and Designing in planning and building performant ETLs, mediator tables, and beautiful and fast Scene and Looker dashboards
• Formation of a Single Source of Truth: Collaborate with our Administration team and unite examiners and partners from across the team to define and normalize the metrics by which we evaluate product performance
• ETL and Metric Plan: Own measurement plan and creation by defining business requirements, structure and development, and long-term data flexibility

Essential Capabilities

* A Bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering, MIS, Statistics, Finance, Math, or related field

• Ability to create data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.
• 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably explicitly in analysis design
• Proficiency in SQL, some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, etc. and more
• Huge experience with OLAP data sets like Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience creating and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs
• Project and resource management experience, illustrating goals, timelines, and organizing work across multiple stakeholders
• Python/R or other statistical programming languages
• Extreme drive and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional products
• Strong relational skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to diverse audiences
