Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. You'll be responsible for transferring data from various sources, including paper formats, computer records, and verbal recordings. With a strong attention to detail and excellent typing skills, you'll be able to accurately and quickly enter data into our systems, creating spreadsheets, and organizing large datasets.

Responsibilities

* Work 100% from the comfort of your home via a personal computer, enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that comes with remote work

  • Reside in the USA to ensure compliance with local regulations and data protection laws
  • Transfer data from paper formats via computer, recorders, or scanners, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Enter data into appropriate fields, databases, records, and files, using your expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets
  • Handle numerical data accurately, creating spreadsheets and organizing large numbers
  • Curate data directly from speech or interviews, using your excellent listening and communication skills
  • Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available, ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate
  • Correct and modify inaccurate files and records, using your attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Type data directly and accurately, using your fast and accurate typing skills
  • Comply with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly, protecting customer/client information and identities
  • Summarize data for standardized reports, using your analytical and communication skills
  • View and verify confidential or private customer/client information, protecting their identities and information
  • Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace

Requirements

* Accurate and precise attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, with the ability to create clear and concise reports
  • Assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive attitude
  • Fast and accurate typist, with the ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Able to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data, using your excellent communication skills
  • Understand data confidentiality principles and follow them to the letter, protecting customer/client information and identities
  • High school diploma; associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field not required but preferred
  • Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of data management processes
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company, with a strong desire for professional development and growth
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision, with a strong sense of autonomy and responsibility
