As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support. About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a work-from-home basis. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and reviving benefits
  • Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicating and collecting copay amounts
  • Obtaining authorizations
  • Working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues

Schedule

Our Customer Service Representatives work Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 7:30 PM EST. This flexible schedule allows you to balance your work and personal life while making a meaningful contribution to our patients' care.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology

Education

A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Our Customer Service Representatives are rewarded with a competitive salary range of $22.00 to $36.00 per hour. In addition to your compensation, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
