Experienced Senior Data Analyst – Global Tax Services

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Tax Services team at arenaflex. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for performing hands-on data analysis and evaluation of large financial data sets, investigating and troubleshooting data quality issues, and defining business requirements for technical development. You'll also work closely with client groups to identify enhancements in performance and controllership for their current data processes, train them on the designed reporting and capabilities of their processes, and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform hands-on data analysis and evaluation of large financial data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability of data
• Define business requirements for technical development based on the evaluation of data sets
• Work with client groups to identify enhancements in performance and controllership for their current data processes
• Train client groups on the designed reporting and capabilities of their processes
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including client groups, technical teams, and other business units
• Ability to explain financial and technical concepts and evaluation implications to a wide audience, and translate business goals into actionable analyses

About the Team:

Our Global Tax Services team is a rapidly growing group that's dedicated to supporting Corporate Tax functions. We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn new concepts quickly, willing to take on new challenges, and possess ironclad judgment and integrity when handling sensitive information.

Essential Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields

• 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and developing business intelligence reports using Tableau or Power BI
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to drive business insights
• Experience with Excel and SQL
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

* MBA

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
