As a Text-Based Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in managing customer conversations, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support through live chat. This is a written-only role, requiring no phone calls or video chats. Key Responsibilities

* Handle real-time chat inquiries from customers seeking help with common questions related to products, subscriptions, or technical access.

  • Follow chat scripts and knowledge base articles to ensure consistency in tone, accuracy of information, and ease of response.
  • Escalate complex issues to internal teams, such as billing or tech support, using internal escalation protocols.
  • Document conversations after each interaction, summarizing customer issues and outcomes in a simple tag-based form.
  • Monitor messages, refer to knowledge base content, and reply using pre-approved scripts or templates.
  • Take breaks between queues, receive live support from supervisors, and get real-time metrics on response times and customer satisfaction.

A Day in the Life

As a Text-Based Customer Support Specialist, you'll work in a fully remote environment, logging into the dashboard to manage customer chats. You'll be assigned a batch of customer chats, typically two to four at a time, and will have the flexibility to choose your preferred hours through our online scheduler. Shifts are available 24/7 across different time zones, allowing you to work at times that suit your schedule.
