Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find the perfect products for their needs
- Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash registers, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our strict security protocols
- Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer
- Receiving merchandise and helping with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
- Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or team lead
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Physical stamina to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
