As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:- Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find the perfect products for their needs
- Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of integrity and accountability
- Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers
- Receiving merchandise and assisting with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
- Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
- Performing other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication skills
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- The ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height, with the stamina to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with a passion for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a willingness to think critically and make informed decisions
