Edlio Summary

Hi, we're Edlio! We are a fast-paced software development company that is looking for a smart, energetic, supportive, and dynamic individual to join our team. We specialize in a web-based solution for thousands of schools and districts nationwide. Our content management system is packed with features designed specifically for teachers and school administrators and is a perfect fit for educational organizations of any size, from small charter schools to districts with dozens of campuses.

Job purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall scope, coordination, implementation, execution and completion of website implementation projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The PM will oversee website implementation projects by coordinating schedules (both internal and external) and ensuring projects are completed in accordance with established quality standards and delivered on-time to the client. Project Managers will serve as the interface between customers and creative staff making communication skills especially important. PMs must be able to transition between multiple projects at any given time and must operate efficiently under strict deadlines with a serious dedication to detail. PMs work on projects that range in size from a single school to District Wide Solutions (DWS) with 50+ schools.

Duties and responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project lifecycle management — from scoping and planning through execution, launch, and retrospective
  • Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to define timelines, milestones, and resource requirements for new features and platform improvements, including AI-driven initiatives
  • Coordinate client-facing implementation projects, ensuring smooth onboarding of schools and districts onto Edlio's platform
  • Actively track emerging AI tools, methodologies, and industry trends — and bring relevant insights back to the team to inform how we work and what we build
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into project workflows to improve efficiency, forecasting, and reporting
  • Identify risks and blockers early, and proactively communicate status to stakeholders across the organization
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, maintain project documentation, and hold teams accountable to deliverables
  • Translate technical requirements — including AI-related features — into clear, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders such as school administrators and district leaders
  • Continuously improve internal processes and project management practices as Edlio scales

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in a SaaS, EdTech, or technology company
  • A genuine curiosity about AI — you actively follow developments in the space, experiment with new tools, and think critically about how AI can be applied responsibly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong communicator who can distill complexity — including AI concepts — into clear updates for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where processes are still being built
  • Familiarity with agile and/or scrum methodologies
  • PMP or other PM certification is a plus, but not required
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar) to improve productivity or project outcomes
  • Background in K-12 education, EdTech, or working with school district clients
  • Experience managing software implementation or customer onboarding projects
  • Familiarity with web platforms, CMS tools, or mass communication systems
  • Prior exposure to AI product development cycles or working alongside ML/AI engineering teams

  • 401K with employer matching
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits

  • Paid vacation and holidays
