Position at Consumer Tech The Opportunity:As an HR Generalist for CNET Group, you will support assigned business groups by delivering core HR programs and providing guidance across key areas such as performance management, employee relations, career development, and learning. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while staying organized, proactive, and calm under pressure, with strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with managers and employees
- Facilitate roundtable discussions and exit interviews; support employee relations matters
- Coordinate and manage new hire check-ins to support onboarding and engagement
- Host HR office hours and deliver training on annual HR processes
- Identify and escalate complex or sensitive employee issues and trends to HR leadership or appropriate partners
- Support key talent processes, including performance reviews, talent calibrations, and employee development initiatives
- Assist with workforce planning activities in partnership with HR leadership
- Support M&A-related activities by coordinating with HR leadership and business stakeholders
- Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects across HR functions, including BHR, Payroll/Compliance, L&D, and Talent Acquisition
- Partner with the broader global HR team to align on processes, tools, and resources
- Maintain standards and procedures for responding to employee inquiries, processing transactions, and administering HR programs
Job Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 2+ years in an HR Generalist or similar role supporting employees and managers
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience across core HR areas, including employee relations, performance management, and employee development
- Ability to build relationships and effectively support managers in day-to-day HR matters
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (multi-state experience a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative, proactive, and accountable approach to work
- Experience working in a unionized environment, with an understanding of labor relations practices and union interactions, is preferred
