- Provide teaching excellence to graduate students in Clinical Psychology and other graduate programs;
- Supervise clinic services, including wait list management and client scheduling coordination
- Be physically present at all times when the clinic is open
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision for master?s level student clinicians in practicum/internship.
- Teach courses in the department of Psychology and Special Education;
- Prepare syllabi;
- Update course materials;
- Develop curriculum;
- Deliver instruction both online and on any of the university campuses. Instructional duties may include teaching during the day, in the evening, or on Saturday;
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to implement departmental programs;
- Provide service to the department, college, university and public schools, and community; and
- Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy research, best practices in teaching graduate level classes, and technological applications in the classroom, including online teaching.
- Education: Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology (or closely related field) and licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Texas or must obtain license prior to May 2024.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals. Good written and oral communication skills. Commitment to high quality teaching. Dedication to high standards and student success.
- Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.
- Commitment to training to master-level clinical psychology students in evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy.
- University teaching experience. Online teaching experience.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Supervision of graduate assistants, practicum students, and student interns.
