Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineering Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a high-performing team of customer engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their growth and success
  • Partnering with sales teams to deliver revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and support, to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Developing and implementing customer engagement strategies, including account planning, customer success planning, and customer advocacy programs
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Identifying and prioritizing customer pain points, developing solutions, and implementing process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in customer engineering and automation testing
  • Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal ROI

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Engineering Manager at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • 10-15 years of engineering experience in the B2B SaaS space, with a strong background in automation testing and solutions engineering
  • Prior experience as an Automation Test Manager or Lead, with hands-on expertise in Selenium and other automation testing tools
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Consulting roles with a technical background, including client interaction and account management
  • Proven people management skills, including hiring, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and driving team growth
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and deployment methodologies, as well as the modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), associated toolsets, and best practices
  • Hands-on knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency with development tools and IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, Maven, Git)
  • Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks (JUnit/NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, NightWatchJS, WebDriverIO)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Azure DevOps)
  • Understanding of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, VPNs, IPsec, firewalls)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
