Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through:

  • Inbound and outbound calls, with a focus on resolving customer inquiries and concerns
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support, with a focus on health insurance enrollment and navigation
  • Application data entry, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Online chat inquiries, with a focus on providing timely and helpful responses
  • Interpretation and adherence to defined procedures and policies, with a focus on regulatory compliance
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving complex customer issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a focus on adapting to changing projects and updates
  • Time and task management, with a focus on multitasking and task prioritization

Requirements

To succeed as a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • A dedicated, private, and secure workspace, with a personal device and functioning camera
  • A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a hard-wired ethernet connection
  • Cable or fiber broadband internet, with a hard-wired ethernet connection (mobile internet service providers and satellite internet are not compatible)
  • A commitment to full attendance for paid 3-week training period
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • High level of professionalism, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working from home, with self-motivation and a success-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, as well as experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, the Affordable Care Act, or call centers, is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is also desirable.
