A Typical Day The integration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) into all aspects of our curriculum allows students to explore and excel in areas requiring core knowledge, as well as their individual passions such as musical theater, foreign language, and creative writing. Students begin to understand what they love most about school and learning, and realize what individual passions they will pursue in high school, college, and as a career. Our students understand that they are part of something greater than themselves. Musts Teachers who are inspired in their approach, who stretch the boundaries of learning, are typically the most successful. We encourage enthusiasm and support our instructors to demonstrate the thirst for knowledge to our students. We are looking for teachers that stretch beyond textbook teaching and bring together instruction methods that will ultimately help a student delve deeper into a subject. A teacher shall have a BA or BS degree from an accredited or approved college or university. The person selected for this position will be responsible to substitute as needed in the classroom. The floater will report directly to the assigned campus each day and will receive the teaching assignment for the day. If a substitute is not needed, the floater will assist the classroom teachers in the general supervision and management of a classroom of children, or provide assistance to the principal as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In general, this position requires an individual to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language. This position is regularly required to hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
