Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Assistant to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our studies, surveys, and data management tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing help desk support to respondents with questions and troubleshooting during the study
  • Identifying and resolving issues with incorrect or incomplete addresses and/or bad telephone numbers for cases
  • Assisting in preparing and mailing the second questionnaire packet and services user appointment letters
  • Receiving, editing, and scanning returned hardcopy questionnaires accurately to maintain data integrity
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure all study components are completed by eligible participants

Key Responsibilities

* Help Desk Support: + Staff the help desk to assist RCC and ADSC respondents with questions and troubleshooting during the study + Provide timely and accurate responses to respondent inquiries

  • Interactive Tracing:

+ Identify and resolve issues with incorrect or incomplete addresses and/or bad telephone numbers for cases + Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues

  • Mailing and Receipt Management:

+ Assist in preparing and mailing the second questionnaire packet and services user appointment letters + Ensure accurate and timely mailing of study materials

  • Data Management:

+ Receive, edit, and scan returned hardcopy questionnaires accurately to maintain data integrity + Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely data entry

  • Collaborative Support:

+ Work closely with other team members to ensure all study components are completed by eligible RCC and ADSC participants + Provide support and assistance as needed to ensure successful study execution

Position Requirements

* Comfortable working in a remote setting with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in data collection and documentation
  • Proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Previous experience with surveys, data collection, or call operations a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in tasks or processes as needed

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in clerical work, customer service, or administrative support preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
  • Proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Previous experience with surveys, data collection, or call operations a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or social sciences)

  • Experience working in a remote setting
  • Proficiency in using advanced office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, or SQL)
  • Previous experience with data management and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
