The Role
As a Senior Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading the development of our conversational AI and chatbot solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers and stay ahead of the competition. Key responsibilities will include:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Solution Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions that integrate with our chatbot technology and meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, design, and customer success, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Technical Documentation: Create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation to support the development and deployment of our solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation of our solutions.
Essential Qualifications
* Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Ruby (or Ruby on Rails), Sinatra Framework, PostgresSQL, and Data & APIs.
- Leadership: Strong technical leadership skills, with experience in leading programmes of work and making significant technical decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to provide valuable advice and guidance to clients.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changeable environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desirable Qualifications
* Additional Technical Skills: Experience with Heroku, Redis, Python, Machine Learning, live chat products/widgets, chatbots, and statistics.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with data or technology products within the Automotive Industry.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer.
