EMDR Trained/Certified Therapist- Licensed or Eligible Massaschusetts
New Life Therapy is a virtual mental health group practice based in Massachusetts seeking an EMDR-trained therapist to join our growing trauma specialty service line. In this role, you will provide individual EMDR therapy using the standard 8-phase protocol, conduct intake assessments, and deliver extended EMDR intensives for clients seeking accelerated trauma treatment. You will maintain a consistent caseload, complete timely documentation in our EHR, and collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians committed to culturally responsive, high-quality care. This is a fully remote, W-2 position with competitive compensation based on collections.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide individual EMDR therapy using the standard 8-phase protocol with fidelity to the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) model
- Deliver EMDR intensives (extended sessions, 2+ hours) for clients seeking accelerated trauma treatment
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine appropriateness for EMDR and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain a caseload of both standard weekly sessions and intensive formats
- Document all sessions in JaneApp within 24–48 hours of service delivery, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Billing & Compliance
- Submit accurate session codes and billing information to support timely insurance claims processing
- Maintain compliance with payer requirements, telehealth regulations, and documentation standards
- Ensure all telehealth sessions are conducted from a HIPAA-compliant environment
Business Development / Practice Growth
- Participate in consultations with prospective EMDR clients and clearly communicate the intensive format, expected outcomes, and cost structure
- Maintain a target utilization rate (sessions per week) as defined by NLT leadership
- Represent the EMDR service line in alignment with NLT's brand and marketing messaging
Professional Development
- Maintain active EMDRIA certification or training status, and pursue ongoing consultation hours as required
- Participate in peer consultation group and individual supervision as applicable
- Stay current with trauma-informed best practices
