Mechanical Modeler / BIM Specialist (BR)

ENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company that specializes in hands-on, field-focused BIM services. Founded in 2007, we have positioned itself as the largest and most experienced BIM production service provider in the United States, having completed 5,000 BIM projects with a dedicated team of over 500 staff members. We provide MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and Scan to BIM services, as well as a comprehensive array of BIM production services to architects, engineers, and owners.

The Role

A modeler, as its very name says, is the one who models the buildings in Revit or similar programs. Depending on their seniority or expertise, they can model one or more disciplines. Modelers at ENG must also understand and review discipline specifications, project manuals, and submittals (Quality Analysis), and be able to read the design information provided by our clients to create accurate and constructible BIM models.

Mandatory Requirements

• An Upper Intermediate level of English is an absolute must, to be able to communicate directly with US clients.
• Intermediate - Advanced Revit knowledge and applied experience (plumbing).
• Civil or Mechanical Engineeering degree.
• Experience in the mechanical field. 

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with or knowledge of FABParts and Sysque software. 
• Experience with US-based projects.
• Navisworks knowledge.
• Plant 3D.

Soft Skills

• Enthusiastic, passionate about BIM.
• Curiosity-driven, eager to learn.

Responsibilities and Scope: MEP and prefabrication modeling and coordination in software like Revit, Sysque and FABParts, clashes review in Navisworks, attending coordination meetings, creation of layout drawings, issues reporting, emails writing, and phone calls with clients.
