Responsibilities

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting the sales team in invoicing orders accurately, ensuring seamless billing and payment processes.
  • Accurately billing and delivering invoices, following up on past due accounts to receive payment.
  • Maintaining customer accounts by updating information, processing payments, and managing billing inquiries.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing and resolving customer complaints, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM & Inventory systems, with experience in data entry and 10-key typing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide solutions.
  • Ability to have direct conversations, giving and taking feedback, and providing coaching and guidance to colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Experience with billing and payment processes.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
