Your Role

As a Customer Line A/C Manager II, you'll be responsible for the folio management of assigned aircraft during the production and flight test phase of the assembly process. You'll analyze and steer all new issues found during the assembly process, identify critical points, initiate action plans, and complete follow-ups until closure of issues. You'll also be required to lead daily A/C review meetings, assign priorities to the whole MFT, and function as the L2 link to feed escalations to the ACM IIIs.

Key Responsibilities

* Train and mentor Aircraft Manager employees to ensure individual development under the guidance of the HO ACM team for successful and sustainable aircraft management.

  • Lead daily A/C review meetings and assign priorities to the whole MFT.
  • Function as the L2 link to feed escalations to the ACM IIIs. Ensure all escalations are properly documented in Tandem and all information is given for appropriate problem solving.
  • Daily A/C Milestones follow up through the Master Production Schedule.
  • Demonstrably effective communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Responsible for aircraft issue follow-up addressing progress in a proactive manner, anticipating issues, and driving resolution to avoid production risks. Generate the daily MSN Report (folio points analysis) and highlight priority topics.
  • Prepare and conduct FOT meeting, ensuring on-time closure of all folio points and non-conformities. Prepare Aircraft Documentation for the Internal Quality Gates and lead meetings to ensure aircraft status is known by the receiving station. In the event of a red quality gate, ensure actions are taken and completed according to the plan given.
  • Document, follow, organize and manage all non-conformities throughout the flowline/flight line process. Drive closure of issues in collaboration with all relevant parties to ensure production milestones are met.
  • Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with internal and external customers.

Your Qualifications

* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. In lieu of degree, training as a technician in a technical field related to aviation manufacturing.

  • Required: 5 or more years of working experience in aviation related fields.
  • 2 or more years of working experience in an Aircraft Manager role within arenaflex or in a leadership role.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of working experience in a leading role.

Physical Requirements

* Vision: adequate to read material on computer screens, and aircraft gauges. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions

  • Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings. Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
  • Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
  • Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment. Working on fuselage jigs at a height of 15 feet. Able to work on hydraulic lifts sometimes at a height of up to 40 feet.
  • Working Conditions/Physical Demands: capable to support 2 shift system and occasional weekends, based on business needs.
  • Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 55lbs/25kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues, or as part of continuous improvement projects.
  • Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 55lbs/25kg.
  • Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer, in meetings, or on aircraft.
  • Squatting/Kneeling: able to work on in the wing or center box in a confined space. Entrance into the wing by a 9.8 inch x 17.7 inch oval opening. Able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
  • Travel: able to travel overseas and domestically
  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
