Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our Government and Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, resolving customer complaints, and providing exceptional customer service. If you're a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and sells air travel on arenaflex
  • Prepares itineraries, computes fares, issues refunds, and prepares and issues tickets
  • Answers inquiries regarding general travel information and resolves customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicates with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights
  • Communicates new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
  • Ability to demonstrate high-level initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
  • Satisfactory attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the airline industry and its operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
