Job Summary

As an Experienced Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to shareholders during the Fall Proxy season. You'll work closely with our National Campaigns Unit to support public companies in communicating with their shareholders about key issues that require a vote. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a clear and professional speaking voice.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to shareholders via phone, email, and chat

  • Assist shareholders with voting online, by mail, or phone
  • Answer questions about key issues on the ballot, including board elections, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and proposals
  • Help shareholders update their votes and provide clear instructions on how to do so
  • Work closely with our National Campaigns Unit to ensure seamless communication with shareholders and companies
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a contact center environment
  • Minimum of 6 months of outbound call experience within the last 24 months
  • Experience persuading customers to complete a task, such as a sale, payment, or upgrade
  • Clear and professional speaking voice, with the ability to communicate effectively with affluent customers
  • Ability to read and interpret call scripts verbatim
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, and dual monitors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a similar role, such as a proxy season support position

  • Knowledge of the proxy season process and shareholder communications
  • Experience working with shareholders and companies in a customer-facing role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
