Job Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry/Typing Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Providing timely and accurate information in response to incoming customer requests for product information and location of dealers
- Abiding by set payment terms and processing orders/service requests for warrantied and non-warrantied products according to established department policies and procedures
- Providing feedback to the proper functional areas within the company on all product failures and damage
- Working with others to ensure we are meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations
- Communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner on issues such as orders, back orders, shipment specifications, cost/quotes, special pricing, billing terms, and other essential ordering matters
- Answering non-technical customer service calls and providing backup phone support for all incoming calls
- Utilizing phone/email/fax to communicate with customers
- Maintaining accurate records of documents in an organized manner and keeping an organized filing system
- Analyzing pricing and parts numbers for accuracy on all orders
- Assuming receptionist duties in the absence of the receptionist
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Controller
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in business or a related field (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- 10-key touch typing skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency with spreadsheet applications
- Order entry and order processing experience
- Knowledge of inland/ocean freight forwarding procedures, including booking and other terms
- Ability to identify and resolve complex problems
- Ability to identify documents such as procedures manuals, spreadsheets, understand business reports, access the internet, and create professional documents
- Good math and comprehension skills
Skills and Experience
