[Remote] BPL Post Closing Specialist - Valere Commercial

The BPL Post Closing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and accurate transition from loan closing to loan boarding and final file settlement, supporting post-closing workflows and ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and distribute loan data tapes for investors, servicers, warehouse partners, or internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to required formats and timelines
• Support and execute the transfer of post-closing loan images and document packages from the Loan Origination System (LOS) to SFTP repositories, including monitoring for successful delivery, troubleshooting issues, and validating completeness
• Respond to questions from internal teams and external partners (warehouse banks, investors, custodians, brokers, and other third parties)
• Provide timely and accurate information regarding loan files, documentation status, corrections, and exceptions
• Assist with preparing and organizing files for post-closing audits, investor reviews, or internal quality control
• Track findings, follow up on remediation items, and ensure documentation meets all compliance and underwriting standards
• Support the movement, tracking, and reconciliation of collateral documents, final recorded documents, and title policies
• Coordinate with internal counterparts that work with title companies, custodians, and servicing partners to ensure timely receipt, accuracy, and proper delivery
• Collaborate with operations leadership to maintain smooth post-closing workflows, identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support scaling efforts as Valere Commercial grows

Skills

• Experience in mortgage, private lending, or commercial real estate finance
• Familiarity with LOS platforms, SFTP processes, and document management tools
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing environment with evolving processes
• Skilled in maintaining excellent attention to detail and managing multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for working with third-party partners
