Engineer Senior or Grad 2 Enginner

They are seeking an Engineer Senior to provide professional engineering leadership for Utility Coordination, Project Management, and Detail Design for the design and development of construction plans for District 8.
Responsibilities

Skills
- Applicants must be licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity. (If obtaining licensure through reciprocity, a practice pending letter from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
- Class D Driver's License if driving a state vehicle
- A bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited college/university or equivalent as rated by EAC/NCEES; A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examTwo (2) years post-graduation civil engineering work
- A Master's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited college/university or equivalent as rated by EAC/NCEES A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examOne (1) year of post-graduate civil engineering work
- Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam
- Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history check
- It is our policy that all candidates submit to a background investigation prior to employment
- Knowledge of CADD, Windows based operating systems, spreadsheet and word-processing software applications
- Knowledge of MnDOT policies, procedures, HPDP, ADA requirements, Geometric Design Standards, MnDOT Specifications, Plan Production Standards, Sample Plans, and State and Federal statute and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of critical path scheduling theory, applications and tools (e.g., Artemis Project View (APV) or Prima Vera (P6))
