Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers on benefit amounts
- Requesting and distributing internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department
- Responding to phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on contract coverage and claims processes
- Managing workflow, processing, and completing requests and documents according to established procedures
- Collaborating with team members, working effectively in a friendly team environment
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and communicating effectively with internal staff, upper management, and customers
- Other job duties as assigned
Key to Success
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school graduate or GED required
- Strong organizational and customer service skills, with ability to problem-solve and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office, with ability to learn new programs quickly and type at least 35 wpm
- Automotive Service Department experience preferred, but not required
