About This Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative - Collections to join our remote team. As a critical member of our collections team, you'll be responsible for collecting on low-risk accounts, assisting customers in understanding their financial obligations, and providing guidance to limit losses to the bank. You'll work in a fast-paced, independent environment, requiring strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative - Collections, you'll be responsible for:
- Collecting on low-risk accounts to minimize delinquency rates
- Assisting customers in a professional and empathetic manner to interpret their financial situation and provide guidance
- Negotiating repayment options and handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Maintaining accurate documentation and account maintenance
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year customer service experience required
- Collections experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and motivated self-starter
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Schedule
As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our schedule is designed to accommodate your needs, with:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Weekly flexible prime-time hours required
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ($15.50 - $20.00 per hour) + performance-based incentives. Our benefits package includes:
