Job Summary
We're seeking a Part-Time Sales & Data Entry Associate to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the register, and performing light data entry tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to gain real-world experience, build their skills, and develop a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Sales & Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers in-store or online with purchases and product questions
- Operating the register and handling basic transactions
- Performing light data entry tasks, such as:
+ Updating inventory levels and tracking orders + Organizing and inputting product information into spreadsheets or internal systems
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including displays and shelves
- Providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Working collaboratively with the sales and customer service team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be between the ages of 16 and 18 (with a valid work permit if under 18)
- Basic typing and computer skills (Google Sheets or Excel is a plus)
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Availability to work after school and weekends
- Reliability, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude
- A strong team player with excellent customer service skills
