The Role
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for maintaining data clarity and accuracy by performing a variety of tasks, including:
* Inputting information from scanned or handwritten documents into structured digital formats
* Double-checking records to ensure details are correct and complete
* Identifying and flagging inconsistencies or errors in source materials
* Helping generate occasional status updates or summaries for supervisors
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Comfortable working independently: You'll be working remotely, so it's essential that you're self-motivated and able to stay focused in a flexible work environment.
* Solid grasp of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications: You'll need to be proficient in using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to perform data entry tasks.
* Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute: You'll need to be able to type quickly and accurately to meet the demands of this role.
* Previous clerical work experience: While not essential, previous experience in clerical work, such as virtual admin, digital recordkeeping, or other remote data entry jobs, is highly desirable.
The Details
* 15–25 hours/week, Mon–Fri with flexible daytime availability: You'll have the flexibility to work part-time hours, Monday to Friday, with the option to adjust your schedule to suit your needs.
* Fully remote: You'll work from home using your own device, with the option to use company-provided equipment for longer-term roles.
* 6-month contract with possible extension or transition to full time: You'll have the opportunity to work on a contract basis, with the possibility of extending your contract or transitioning to a full-time role.
* Hourly pay based on skills and experience: Your hourly pay will be determined by your skills and experience, ensuring that you're fairly compensated for your work.
