Job Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Clerk / Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the processing of medical claim reviews by professionals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing word processing tasks, such as data entry, document review, and editing
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records, ensuring high levels of attention to detail
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve processes and services

Days/Hours and Training:

This is a full-time opportunity, with a standard 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll have the opportunity to work from home and enjoy a healthy work-life balance. During your first 2-3 weeks, you'll undergo comprehensive training, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

Salary and Benefits:

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) or medical billing software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
  • Certification in medical coding or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
