Job Description
We are seeking experienced Mechatronics Service Technicians to join our team in the Karlsruhe/Pforzheim region. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly, and resolving any technical issues that may arise. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs and maintenance on machines used in postal processing (franking machines, envelope inserters, RISO printers)
- Conduct future-proofing of machines to accommodate new business opportunities
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment
- Install new machines at client sites
- Receive and document service requests in the SAP S4 Hana system
- Take ownership of the Bavaria region, working closely with three other Service Technicians
- Be prepared to travel and, if necessary, overnight stays
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure seamless service delivery
Essential Competencies and Work Habits:
* Hold a technical degree in Mechatronics or a related field
- Possess experience as a Service Technician in the field
- Have knowledge of mechanics, electrical, and network technology
- Demonstrate a structured approach to work and possess self-organization skills
- Enjoy interacting with clients and have a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy the daily challenges of working in the field
- Value open and honest communication with colleagues and possess a strong team spirit
- Proficiency in English is an asset in our international organization
