Our Services Team

Our Services team, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is a critical component of our organization. We provide a comprehensive portfolio of services to our customers, including proactive management of tools, expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control, worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams, and knowledge management systems. Our extensive parts network ensures worldwide availability of parts, ensuring our customers' high-performance and productivity needs are met.

Job Description

As a Customer Support Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be part of our CSE Team, working closely with our customers at their sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and start-up of new equipment or upgrades at customer sites
  • Servicing of existing equipment and troubleshooting
  • Following and working according to documented 'Best Known' methods
  • Collaborating closely with the technical support team at Head Quarter to resolve issues
  • Documentation of the work performed
  • Taking ownership of and leading projects at the customer sites
  • Maintaining a loyal appearance of the company towards the customer

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree, technician's degree, or apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician
  • Experience in the fields of vacuum technology, process measurement and control technology, robotics, or plasma technology
  • Very good communication skills in English, with German language skills a plus (in writing and speaking)
  • A valid driver's license for Germany

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in a similar role or industry
  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
  • Familiarity with our customers and their needs
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
