Junior Copywriter
J.Crew Factory is a renowned clothing company known for its commitment to quality and style. They are seeking a Junior Copywriter to own product copy and naming across women’s and crewcuts, while also writing on-brand loyalty copy for various channels and supporting additional copy assignments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Be our women’s and crewcuts product expert!
- Own product copy and naming across women’s and crewcuts
- Write on-brand loyalty copy for designated channels
- Tackle and support additional copy assignments as needed, from site to email to social
- Research everything from sustainability terms to third party brand backstories
- Adopt our brand voice while helping to evolve it
- Keep tabs on what’s going on word-wise in the industry
Skills
- 1-3 years' of writing experience
- BS/BA degree (English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising preferred)
- An unapologetically nerdy love of words
- Cool-headed multitasking
- Curiosity about all kinds of retail experiences
- Brainstorming sorcery
- Hype for the latest long read, niche TikTok sound and/or good outfit spotted on the subway
- Ability to work efficiently and adhere to multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Must have a deep understanding of our brand voice
