The Opportunity As an ISG advisor in the enterprise sector, you will shape and drive end-to-end digital transformations across business, technology, process, and people, creating value by reinventing the core of our client's businesses. This work includes gathering and analysing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. You will be part of a growing digital services advisory team facilitating the delivery of ISG services spanning strategy development, offering tailored market insights, and leading client digital transformation initiatives. You can expect to spend your time leading the development of initial digital maturity assessments, project plans, provider research and selections, financial modelling, contract negotiations and client stakeholder engagement and management. The role requires an individual who is flexible, a fast-learner with an ability to leverage strong client-engagement skills. The Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include:- Consultation – provided to clients and service providers in areas of digital solutioning, architectural modelling, project management, financial modelling, executive relationships, leadership, negotiation, administration and change management
- Analysis – gain understanding of client’s current situation and environment by gathering needed information and using appropriate frameworks and models in the development of assessment material for decision-making purposes
- Project management – lead the planning and development of all project deliverables and assume overall responsibility for staffing, budget, work plans, scope, project milestones, issues management and risk management, utilising ISG’s project management methods, tools, and templates
- Financial modelling - develop simple to medium-complexity financial models for comparative analysis of provider proposals, client data and RFx proposals
- Advisory Services - delivered across a range of business functions, with expert level insights across a specific competency
- Deliver ISG methodology and tools in support of client digital services initiatives
- Up to 7 years recent experience with a major consulting firm or in a corporate role delivering strategy and operations projects with an emphasis in business or technology transformation at the intersection of new operating models and new digital technologies
- Experience in two or more of the following transformation practice areas: business process architecture and solution implementation, business case and use case development, financial modeling, BI and Analytics strategy and implementation, complex program management, enterprise business / process / IT architectures, executive agenda items and metrics
- Excellent program management skills including developing project plans, resourcing, and budgeting projects, and managing a disciplined execution methodology with both internal (direct) and external (indirect) team members
- Ability to analyse financial and operational data and synthesize findings in common business language
- Superior organisation skills with the ability and desire to balance multiple projects of varying complexity at the same time
- Deep understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis, workforce readiness and leadership communications
- Broad understanding of how businesses operate and compete, and an understanding of the relationship between major functional areas of the product-centric enterprise (design, plan, procure, manufacture, distribute, service)
- Deep functional expertise with Digital Product Development and Implementation
- Broad understanding of the use of enterprise systems in large organizations and trends in cloud applications, social media, system integration, and mobile technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
- Ability to think strategically, drive for results, and build a high-performance team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas
- Familiarity with or certifications in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies, SAFe, TOGAF, IT4IT and ITIL
- A desire to work collaboratively, a natural ability to network, and a great sense of humour
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables
- A relevant undergraduate degree; MBA/Masters or other advanced degree(s)/qualifications desirable
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, ITIL4, SAFe, or TOGAF highly desirable
