The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients. Responsibilities:

• Administer non-injectable contrast material

• Sets up and operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment

• Develops and review radiographs for quality and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of AMA approved radiology school

• Must be licensed in N.Y. State and be ARRT and CPR certified

• 3-5 years' experience as a staff technologist

• Knowledge of multi-discipline areas

• Must be experienced in radiological techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection, fluoroscopic and intravenous examinations, tomography and special examinations

• Must obtain a minimum of 24 Category A continuing education credits every 2 years

• Excellent communication skills required.

• BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• No online programs from any organization will be accepted.

The pay for this position ranges from $48.00 ? 60.00 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate?s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
