We look forward to your interest Title: TV Specialist - Part-Time through 6/12/24 Reports To: Coordinator of Communication Media Takes Direction From: Director of School Community Engagement, Coordinator of Communications Media Schedule/Calendar: 3.75 hours/day 18.75 hours/week 261 days/year Frequent nights and weekends Essential Functions: Creates and produces television programming for the North Penn School District Creates a daily professional learning environment for NPHS students interested in television production Serves as Co-Advisor of the NPTV club at NPHS Assists with public relations and attends special events when called upon Makes editorial decisions regarding content for television programming Interacts with school board members, administrators, community, staff and students on a regular basis Provides audio visual assistance when needed throughout school district Edits video, performs videography, audio, field/news/studio production and writing of television programming Education and/or Certification Required: Bachelor?s degree in Broadcast Communications or similar field Experience Needed: Experience in television production is required, including live and post production Knowledge of broadcast systems and function of professional broadcast equipment Requisite Skills: Videotape editing (linear and non-linear) Videography (studio and field) Audio board Electronic field production Broadcast writing (news and script) Mentor high school students Advanced computer skills (production software) CDL for operation of production vehicle ADA Compliance: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of this position.
