Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our Scheduling Department on a full-time basis, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients and interpreters, handling email requests, answering calls, and managing database information. You'll also be responsible for managing all inbound interpreter calls and inquiries, securing interpreters to cover appointments, and meeting service levels for our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and resolving email requests from clients and interpreters related to scheduling
  • Assisting in answering clients/interpreters calls, when needed
  • Efficiently inputting data and maintaining accurate database information
  • Managing all inbound interpreter calls and inquiries
  • Securing interpreters to cover appointments
  • Managing all appointments for a dedicated client, meeting both arenaflex and client service levels
  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested by leads, Assistant Manager, or Scheduling Manager

Skills and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and abilities:

  • The ability to handle stressful and challenging situations in a calm and professional manner while working with internal and external clients
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with standard software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with other web-based applications
  • The ability to excel in a demanding, dynamic, and team-based working environment
  • Strong data entry and accuracy skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams

Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:

  • 2 years of experience in customer service
  • 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional data entry and accuracy skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams
