Rate: $109,942 - $120,712 (Depending on education and experience)
Calendar: 200-Day
Notes: 23/24 School Year
Primary Responsibility:
To assist the principal in implementing the educational goals of the Puyallup School District and to serve as the educational leader of the school program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides instructional leadership and professional development to all staff members.
- Assists principal in developing a positive effective learning climate.
- Assists in maintaining student discipline and handles special cases as necessary.
- Assists with the evaluation of certificated staff members.
- Works on committees pertinent to the operation of the District.
- Supervises the reporting and monitoring of student attendance and works with the principal for investigative follow-up actions.
- Works with faculty in compiling the annual budget requests.
- Valid state certificated staff endorsement required.
- Master's degree in Educational Administration preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a classroom teacher preferred.
- Experience as an Assistant Principal or Principal preferred.
- Valid state certificate to practice as a school administrator preferred.
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
- Washington State teaching, ESA or School Administrator certificate
- Valid Washington State Driver?s License
