Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Data Analyst to join our team, where you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and improvement. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization will enable you to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and empowered to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks (30%): + Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making + Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and quality

• Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%):

+ Develop and implement data analysis models to support business decision-making + Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data pipelines + Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing

• Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a high level of attention to detail (20%):

+ Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and quality + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency

• Foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%):

+ Develop and maintain technical skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization + Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data pipelines + Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization

• Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan (10%):

+ Develop and maintain data storytelling skills to communicate complex findings to stakeholders + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and quality + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency

* This position reports to the Chief

• This position has no immediate reports

Travel Requirements

* Occasionally requires travel under 10% of the time

Physical Requirements

* Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about

• Occasionally may be required to move or lift light objects

Working Conditions

* Located in a comfortable indoor area

• Any unpleasant conditions would be inconsistent and not surprising

Preferred Qualifications

* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or similar database systems

• 2 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, reviewing, and estimating
• Prior direct experience in examining the relevant topic (e.g., Production network, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
• B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field
