What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, technology or related work or military experience
- Two years experience in aviation, preferably in aircraft maintenance inspection, engineering, and/or quality assurance
- Working knowledge of pertinent Code of Federal Regulations and Company Manuals / Requirements
- Familiar with engineering documents, drawings, AMM's, IPCs, and WDMs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated experience learning Company-specific platforms
- Ability to analyze data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- American Society of Quality or Six Sigma Green Belt certification; FAA Airframe or Powerplant License
- Three years experience in aviation, preferably in aircraft maintenance inspection, engineering, and/or quality assurance; experience in engineering and/or quality assurance auditing and risk assessment skills; experience writing policies and procedures
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization software (i.e., Palantir, Spotfire, and/or SQL)
- Knowledge of process mapping, measurement and improvement techniques
