Job description: Job Summary:
As a Curriculum, Professional Development and Product Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and presentation of instructional resources such as iBlocks, OTIS courses and materials, skills videos, blogs, Teq-tivities, conference attendance, and demonstration of products for K-12 schools and school districts. This role requires 50% travel throughout the country. In this role, you will assist schools and school districts with the identification, planning, and provision of high quality, standards-based, technology infused onsite and online professional development for teachers, school leaders, and educational support staff. You will also assist the Director of Content and Curriculum and the Director of e-Learning with additional tasks and projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design PD/PL sessions and instructional resources geared toward teachers, Pre-K to 12, that appeal to various learning styles.
- Develop lesson objectives, outlines, and other course documents per Teq PD standards.
- Design and develop project-based learning lessons, pathways, and supporting content and curriculum resources.
- Utilize various tools to create and maintain interactive and engaging courses for both embedded trainings (mentoring, coaching, and workshops) and online formats.
- Demonstrates a depth of product knowledge and can communicate content knowledge, product knowledge, and implementation experience to build trust with clients and help drive student achievement and teacher effectiveness.
- To provide on-site demonstrations and training of our products to School Boards, School Administrators, Principals, Teachers and Students.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Attendance of Conferences and Roadshows.
- Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.
- Bachelor?s Degree, Master?s Degree in Education, Education Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Experience with instructional design, learning design, and/or curriculum design.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability in creating and implementing professional development
- Experience integrating technology into curriculum and instruction
- Working knowledge of relevant state standards
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and possess strong project management and organization skills
- Computer Science experience in coding/ programming a plus
- Salary Range $65,000 - $70,000
