Strategic Finance Manager

Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will play a key role in financial forecasting and modeling, collaborating with various teams to enhance clinic-level profitability and ensure seamless financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the newly developed internal corporate financial forecast model. You will update clinic-level and corporate forecasts monthly, performing deep-dive comparisons of actuals vs. budget to identify trends and variances
• Act as the lead for our clinical footprint. You will collaborate across teams to maintain financials, enhance profitability models, and provide actionable performance analysis for each location
• Assist the CFO and Controller with the monthly close process. You will ensure the transition from "closing the books" to "analyzing the data" is seamless, helping to produce high-level monthly financial packages
• Maintain and refresh the A/R model monthly. You will partner with the CFO and the Revenue Cycle Management team to support revenue calculations and ensure our cash flow is accurate
• Partner with the Chief of Staff on the operational side of the business. This includes managing monthly inventory financials and coordinating with vendors to optimize spend and supply chain efficiency
• As our forecasting function is in its early stages, you will have the autonomy to build, refine, and automate processes to improve financial visibility across the organization

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
• 1–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Accounting, FP&A, or a hybrid Accounting/Finance role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - you should be comfortable building and auditing complex financial models
• Ability to not just report the 'what,' but explain the 'why' behind the numbers
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial data to executive leadership
