Position overview Position title: Lecturer Salary range: See Table #15 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $66,259 - $81,490. Position description The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music's programs in Music Industry invite applications for part-time lecturer positions for the 2023-24 academic year. Salaries commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with number of classes taught. Applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a music industry professional; expertise and experience in the development of music industry curriculum is preferred. Responsibilities will include individual student teaching supervision and assigned undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Music. Applicants with a graduate degree in Musicology or related fields will be preferred. The application deadline is August 1, 2023 for Fall quarter, November 1, 2023 for Winter quarter, and January 1, 2024 for the Spring quarter. The anticipated appointment date of October 1st, 2023 for Fall quarter, January 1, 2024 for Winter quarter, and April 1, 2024 for the Spring quarter.
