Job Description

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support assistance to our customers. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling their inquiries, resolving issues, and advocating for solutions that will help them improve their creditworthiness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Take In-Bound calls to assist with credit-related memberships, services, and product offerings

  • Help customers understand credit bureau processes and educate them on appropriate steps to request corrections
  • Receive customer requests for assistance, identify support needed, and either help or forward requests to the appropriate functional area
  • Handle escalated customer issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer support skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Experience interpreting and responding to customer requests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using a computer to perform operations
  • High-speed internet service (minimum 25 mbps download/ 5 mbps upload)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, credit check, and a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a call center or customer support environment

  • Knowledge of credit bureau processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
