This role will involve "Wow-ing" our pet-parent clients and colleagues with exceptional customer care, and handling prescription approvals for veterinary medication. What You'll Do

* Connect directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests

  • Examination and issue resolution to determine suitable answers for the client and center partners, and follow-up as necessary to resolve issues
  • Complete accurate data entry of solutions into arenaflex healthcare software
  • Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness to clients and partners alike
  • Work with a willingness to learn. We share feedback, we receive input, and we work in a culture of being open to growth. Many of our Colleagues have grown into different roles and administrative positions, so having a long-term career center is beneficial
  • Communicate with veterinary facilities via telephone (sometimes other stations depending on the situation) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts, so being thorough is essential
  • Expect a significant portion of the average business day will be outbound veterinary facility/client telephone contacts

What You'll Need

* Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)

  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
  • Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and stand out enough to be noticed to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Should be able to maintain a Pharmacy Expert License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Exhibited ability to perform multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization
  • Flexibility to move schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
  • Should demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data
  • Should be able to pass personal investigation
