Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk

Job Description

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our team's efforts to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accurate and up-to-date digital databases. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Verification and Research: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Database Management: Compiling, verifying the accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Customer Service: Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Reporting and Storage: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scanning documents and printing files as needed to support our team's efforts.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Basic Knowledge of Database Management Tools: Familiarity with database management tools and software.
  • Ability to Enter Data Quickly and Accurately: The ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to think analytically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience Working in a Data Entry Clerk Position: Experience working in a data entry clerk position is a plus, but not required.
