The Role

As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in supporting our clients by:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing clients related to our programs and services
  • Providing one-to-one telephone contact with clients in customer service roles, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
  • Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances
  • Entering application and enrollment information into our web-based computer system for clients wishing to apply for our programs over the telephone
  • Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency in our rules/guidelines and other related program policies
  • Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues through ongoing feedback
  • A commitment to achieving results through knowledge, empathy, and dedication
  • The ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with our programs and services, or a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in our web-based computer system and other relevant software applications

Compensation and Benefits

The pay for this role is $16.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
